Why Tchotchke?
Tchotchke (pronounced CHOTCH-kee) is a Yiddish word meaning trinket, bauble, or small treasure—something that sparks joy. We loved the idea of reclaiming the word and bringing its playful spirit into Judaica.
Historically, these objects have leaned formal or ornate; we wanted to breathe new life into our ancient traditions with beauty, humor and heart.
It's tongue-in-cheek. You get it.

The Story
When Adam and Anna Paskow got married, they searched for Judaica that reflected their style and the life they were building together. When nothing felt quite like them, Adam—an industrial designer—set out to design pieces that honor tradition while speaking to today’s aesthetics. That spark became three original (now award-winning) menorah designs and, in 2022, the founding of Tchotchke.
As their family grew with the arrival of two sons, Anna—a brand strategist—joined to grow Tchotchke into a brand that celebrates Jewish ritual with creativity, warmth and meaning—honoring the spirit of לדור ודור (L’dor v’dor), from generation to generation.
Together, they’re building the kind of Judaica they always wished existed: modern heirlooms rooted in tradition, always with a wink.
