The Ahava Lions Ketubah is the one people recognize from across the room.

Designed by Eitan Gutenmacher — a New York-based graphic designer and creative director whose work sits at the intersection of aesthetics and Jewish spirit — this ketubah is anchored by two golden lions flanking the Hebrew word for love. Bold, richly illustrated, unmistakably Jewish, and somehow both ancient and completely of this moment.

Printed on heavy cream-toned stock made from 90% bamboo and 10% cotton, with a softly textured surface and a natural raw edge that gives each piece a handmade quality. The warm tone deepens the color and adds to the ceremonial weight of the piece.

Designed for this generation. Made to last a lifetime.

Most ketubahs are not designed by internationally recognized artists, illustrators, and craftspeople. Ours are. Every Tchotchke ketubah is an original commission — created exclusively for us by artists whose work hangs in galleries, graces museum gift shops, and earns international acclaim. Each piece is reproduced on museum-grade archival paper using the most cutting-edge technology available for perfect color accuracy and detail reproduction. The paper meets the same archival standard used by the world's finest museums to reproduce fine art — it will not yellow, fade, or degrade. What you're getting is a living piece of contemporary Jewish art, made specifically for the way our generation experiences tradition.

Works With Your Rabbi

All of our text options have been reviewed by Rabbis of the appropriate denomination. We send you a full digital proof before printing — share it directly with your officiant for approval. Some Rabbis have specific wording preferences, and we're happy to accommodate minor adjustments at no charge.

Free Digital Proofs

We'll send you a copy of your personalized text and then a proof with your text laid-out in your ketubah design. We recommend having your Rabbi review these.

Fine-Art Quality

Printed in Brooklyn NYC with cutting edge technology on the highest quality archival media.

Every Denomination, Every Couple

We offer ketubah texts for: Orthodox (traditional Aramaic), Conservative (Lieberman clause), Reform & Egalitarian (modern English/Hebrew), Interfaith (honors both traditions), and Same-sex couples (fully inclusive language). Custom text available on request. Not sure which is right for you? Ask your rabbi, or contact us — we'll help.

About Fill-in-the-Blank Ketubahs

With Fill-in-the-Blank, your ketubah arrives printed and ready — with blank spaces left for names, the wedding date, location, and signatures, to be completed at your ceremony. If your text includes Hebrew, be aware that those fields will also appear in Hebrew, and will need to be filled in by hand by someone with Hebrew writing ability. For couples who want their ketubah to arrive complete and professionally typeset from the start, our Personalized and Customized options handle all of that for you.
